A head nod to all the cargo bike people this month…
On the twelfth day of Cargomas, my cargo bike hauled for me ….
Twelve months of cargo
Eleven garden items
Ten shots of espresso
Nine fresh baked pizzas
Eight feet of fencing
Seven feet of evergreen.
Six chunks of lumber.
Five grocery bags.
Four types of gelato.
Three sons a-talking.
Two youthful hipsters.
And a baby snuggled in the box.
Have a merry, sharry (sharrow) Christmas!

I got my cargo bike back from Splendid Cycles and it weighs less. Well, probably not a great deal less, but during the routine tune up, they cleaned the bike–top to bottom, wheels and all. The only other time my bike was this clean (or light) was when I bought it. I am sure it weighs less with all of the mud and dried leaf residue of the year removed.
